Summer time means there are peaches around so we need to take advantage of what’s in season. Here’s a recipe for a super easy smoothie that can be used as an easy breakfast or a high protein and energy snack option.

1 medium peach, pitted and chopped
1 small banana, peeled and chopped (option to be frozen for a creamier texture)
200 ml low fat milk
100 ml low fat plain yoghurt
Ice cubes
1 scoop (30g) protein powder (optional) [mkdf_accordion_tab icon_pack=”” title=”Method”][vc_column_text]Place the above ingredients into a high powered blender and blend until smooth.
To serve, pour into a glass or into a shaker if you are on-the-go.
